IMG_1949.JPG We operate an apprenticeship scheme open to any young person from 16 to 18 to gain a qualification in their desired field of work. Combining on-the-job training with time at College, the apprentice will learn the practical and underpinning skills to carry out their employment safely and effectively.

An apprenticeship has three elements, which must be completed in order to achieve a qualification. These are an NVQ, a technical certificate of underpinning knowledge and appropriate functional skills for your chosen industry. NVQ training will be done in the workplace where you will put together a portfolio of evidence and be assessed on your competence in your chosen field of work. The Technical certificate and functional skills training will be carried out at College or in the workplace.

To be eligible we require a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D or above, or the equivalent (in a range of subjects, preferably including Maths and English Language).
