During the cold months after Christmas one of the biggest boat shows of the year takes place in Dusseldorf, on the river Rhine. The seventeen huge halls that house this incredible show are buzzing from day one, with new product launches and some fantastic innovative designs being released.

Landamores attended this year as the event also gave Motor Boats and Yachting the perfect opportunity to present their annual awards to the marine industry. Hard work and determination pays off at events like these and our Jersey 36 ELANCO model was nominated for the ‘Wheelhouse and Cockpit Cruiser of the Year’ category. The event was fantastic. A jovial start to the evening set for a fun filled presentation as presenters Hugo Andreae and Jane Smith got off to a flying start. The Jersey 36 ELANCO model was the runner up this year, which is great but our eyes are now firmly fixed on the win when our new Jersey 30 launches in 2020.

Electric boats seemed to be a buzz word during the show which was great to see. Our friends at Torqeedo are seeing that electric propulsion is now considered to be the obvious choice in some areas of the boating market,  and it is harder to see the benefits of the internal combustion alternatives. So, our Landamores displacement launches fit in this category perfectly!

We shall return, and no doubt you will see one of the Dusseldorf halls house one or two of our launches in the near future.
